Six steps, one point of contact

From the decision to outsource to the annual review. We do the first four steps as adviser or interim, VendorManager.nl delivers the last two as a service. At each step you can read what we do.

The sourcing cycle

Six steps, two ways to fill them in

Every IT service goes through the same six steps, from the decision to outsource something to the yearly question whether that is still the right choice. The first four are project work: we do those as interim procurement lead or adviser, on site. The last two are rhythm: VendorManager.nl, our own service, delivers those as a subscription. You choose per step who does it.

AI procurement

AI and AI-embedded SaaS: buy it smart before you sign

AI increasingly arrives bundled inside the software you already buy — often unnoticed. The moment to set the terms is during selection and tendering, not afterwards. We build the right AI requirements into your procurement and contracts.

Risk class & EU AI Act

We classify each AI system by risk and translate that into concrete requirements for your vendor — before you commit.

AI clauses in the contract

Data use, model training, liability, transparency and exit — set out in black and white via AI addenda to your existing contracts.

AI requirements in the tender

A requirements specification that assesses vendors on their AI, with clear weighting criteria — tender-proof, public and private.

Subcontracting & third-party AI

The AI your vendor buys in from third parties is covered too: transparency on sub-processors, approval of new AI subcontractors and liability that flows down the chain.

Once purchased, the ongoing monitoring is handled by VendorManager.nl — our Vendor & AI Control Tower.

Ongoing vendor management & governance

Vendor management & governance? We run that continuously through VendorManager.nl

We don't offer ongoing vendor management and AI governance as a one-off advisory project, but as a subscription: VendorManager.nl, our Vendor & AI Control Tower. One dedicated team monitors your vendors, contracts, costs and the AI in their software — independent and live within four weeks.
